Meghan is a 21-year-old senior at Boston University's Wheelock College of Education and Human Development. She is independently majoring in Art for Education and is on an accelerated path to obtain her master's degree in Child Life in the year 2020. She currently holds the title of Miss Blackstone Valley 2019 and continues to appear and volunteer across the state while promoting her personal platform, A Creative Cure: Combatting Stress with Art. A Creative Cure is Meghan's own nonprofit program that she founded in 2016. The goal of the program to bring easy-to-learn art projects into schools, libraries, and other community venues to encourage the use of art as an avenue of relieving stress and anxiety. Meghan recently conducted Creative Cure sessions at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children. While she held the title of Miss Taunton 2018, Meghan took home the Overall Interview Award at the 2018 Miss Massachusetts Pageant. In her spare time, she can be found driving around her hometown, Taunton, Massachusetts, with the music turned up, enjoying a Paleo donut at Duke's Bakery in Fall River, playing her ukulele, taking a yoga class at Ritual Sweat Society in Dartmouth, or hanging out with her backyard chickens.
